López Uraga, José, 1810-1885.

A promoter of Benito Juárez in the early 1860's, López Uraga later became a loyal supporter of Maximilian and Carlota. Under the presidency of Sebastián Lerdo de Tejada he again served the Mexican government, in Guatemala, and when Porfirio Díaz became president he went into exile in San Francisco.
