Gillis, John A., (1840- )
Bucyrus, Ohio native served in the Civil War with the 64th Ohio Volunteer Infantry, Co. K, participated in the battles of Shiloh, Franklin and Nashville. He was wounded in the hip at the Battle of Franklin, Tennessee.
