Bennett family.
James Bennett came from England in 1841 with two of his brothers. They established a pottery in Ohio, moved to Pennsylvania and later to Maryland. The Bennetts came to know the Carnegies while they were residing in Pittsburgh and the Carnegies were new immigrants to the city.
