George Milton Crum, Jr., was an Episcopal minister working at Clemson University at time the school integrated; spent majority of career as professor at the Protestant Episcopal Theological Seminary; native of Orangeburg, S.C.; son of Sarah Eleanor Guess Crum (b.1893) of Denmark, S.C., and G.M. Crum (b.1891) of Rowesville, S.C.; originally a member of the Methodist Church; author of "Historical data concerning St. Paul's Methodist Church in Orangeburg, South Carolina" (1956).
