P.E.N. Australia. Melbourne Centre
Variant namesInternational P.E.N., a world association of writers, was formed in London in 1921. The Melbourne Centre was formed in 1938 under the name of P.E.N. International Association of Writers. Melbourne Centre, later changing to International P.E.N. - Australia (Melbourne Centre). Membership is restricted to those who have gained a place for themselves in their national literature.
