Websterian Society.
Websterian Society was a literary and debating club for students at the Agricultural and Mechanical College of Alabama (now Auburn University). Named for orator and senator Daniel Webster, the society was founded in ca. 1859. The Wirt Society was the Websterians' rival for members and in annual debate competitions.
