Ketcham, W. E. (Walter Elwood)

Walter Elwood Ketcham was born September 29, 1879 in Nescopeck, Pennsylvania. He entered Pennsylvania State College, in 1900, from East Stroudsburg Normal School (now East Stroudsburg University) and graduated in 1904 with a degree in electrical engineering. During his college years, "Ketch" used his photographic skills to produce an album of campus views, which he sold to raise money for college expenses. He was active in the band, football and the engineering society. Ketcham was also responsible for assembling the 1904 commencement booklet for his graduating class.
