Howard, Guy, 1855-1899.

Army officer; son of Gen. O.O. Howard, born in Maine in 1855 and attended Yale. Served at Fort Whipple in 1878; joined company at Fort Apache in February 1879 and went to Camp Huachuca in March 1879 to command an Indian scout company. This tour of duty ended in February 1880 when he was appointed as aide to his father. He was killed in the Philippines in 1899.
