Project Wagon Wheel (U.S.)
Variant namesProject Wagon Wheel was created to see if it was feasible to use underground nuclear blasting for natural gas exploration south of Pinedale, Wyoming. By 1971 political pressure from environmental groups and local residents stopped the Wagon Wheel Project.
