Permanent Organization for Afro-Asian Peoples' Solidarity
Variant namesThe first conference of the Afro-Asian Peoples' Solidarity movement was held in Cairo at the end of 1957 until 1st January 1958 and resulted in the establishment of the Permanent Secretariat of the Organization with its permanent headquarters in Cairo. It is a non-governmental organization with national committees currently in more than 90 countries in Asia and Africa.
