Slentz, Paul Lawrence.
Paul Slentz received a master's degree from Vanderbilt in 1979 and a master's of divinity in 1998. He was active in the nonviolent protests concerning the hosting of the Davis Cup tennis tournament at Vanderbilt University in 1978, and also during the TennCare health care funding crisis of 2004 and 2005. He is a pastor of the United Methodist Church in Nashville.
