Healy, Robert Wallace, 1836-1912.
Healy enlisted inthe 58th Illinois regiment in 1861, then rose tobecome its commander. After the Civil War, he became interested in southern cotton industry, and moved to Alabama where he became a railroad purchasing agent. He also served as United States marshal for the Middle and Southern Judicial Districts of Alabama, 1867-77, and as chairman of the state's Republican executive committee, 1872-4. In 1889, Healy moved to Chattanooga, Tenn., where he engaged in various business activities.
