British Columbia Federation of Labour
Variant namesThe original B.C. Federation of Labour was founded in Vancouver in 1910 but disbanded in 1920. Re-established in 1944, it became affiliated with the Canadian Congress of Labour and consisted of industrial unions. Following an amalgamation of industrial and trade unions, the founding convention of the united B.C. Federation of Labour (CLC) occurred in 1956.
