Ward, Ephraim, 1741-1818
Variant namesEphraim Ward (1741-1818), minister of West Brookfield, Mass., was born in Newton, Mass., and graduated from Harvard in 1763. He taught school in Dedham, Mass., before returning to Harvard to complete his ministerial training. In 1771 Ward was ordained in West Brookfield and remained there until his death in 1818.
