Wilson, James S. R.
James S. R. Wilson was a member of Colonel William Ludlow's expedition to Yellowsone Park in 1875, three years after Yellowstone was established as the nation's first national park. His main duty was to ride the odometer to measure distances traveled. Further biographical information could not be found.
