Lash, William, active 1834-1896
William Lash was married to Anne Powell Hughes Lash and they resided in Bethany, N.C. They had a daughter, Anne Elizabeth Lash (1834-1925). She married George Hairston (1822-1866) in 1855 and with him had two sons, William Hairston (1863-1927) and Samuel Hairston (1865-1933). In 1875, Anne Elizabeth Lash Hairston (often called Lizzie) married Colonel Forney George, with whom she had one child, Elizabeth Lash George.
