Parmachenee Club (Magalloway, Me.)
Sporting club and camp formed in 1890. The members of the club, chiefly New York lawyers, hunted and fished within the location. The members originally obtained a land lease, which encompassed 120,000 acres in the Parmachenee section of the Maine woods. The boundaries extended from the Old Aziscohos Dam above Wilsons Mills to the Canadian line.
