Charles T. Johnson was born in Weare, NH on September 4, 1868. He was the son of Charles and Clara Johnson. On October 8, 1931 Charles married Florence L. Mann, and they lived in the Heath Homestead, a house that had been owned by Florence's father. They had four children: Susie May, Bertha, Alice J., and Harry T. During his lifetime, Charles was a very well known photographer of the people and places of Jaffrey, NH. As his popularity grew, he started his own photography business in Jaffrey. He died in Jaffrey at the age of 71 on March 7, 1940.
