Leadership scholarship organization at Loyola University Chicago. The Ann Ida Gannon Leadership Scholarship program originated at Mundelein College in 1984. Named for Sr. Ann Ida Gannon, BVM, former President of Mundelein College (1957-1975), the scholarship program concentrated on providing access to education for young women. At the time of Loyola University Chicago's affiliation with Mundelein in 1991, the program was incorporated into the University's Department of Student Life. In the academic year 2002-2003, it was transferred to the province of the Gannon Center for Women and Leadership.
