Librarian Bonnie-Blanche Schoonover graduated from Sioux City High School (Iowa) and attended Morningside College in Sioux City (B.A. 1915), Columbia (B.E. 1921) and Radcliffe College (M.A. 1927). She married Lynn Irvine Schoonover (1887-1973), a finance professor at Northeastern University; they had one son. She served as night librarian at Radcliffe (1928-1942) and was head librarian at Worcester Polytechnic Institute (Massachusetts) beginning in 1942. She was active with the P.E.O. Sisterhood (Philanthropic Educational Organization) in Massachusetts.
