North Carolina Cerebral Palsy Hospital.
The North Carolina Cerebral Palsy Hospital opened 20 February 1950 on Erwin Road in Durham, North Carolina. The hospital was built on property donated by Duke University. Chairman Dr. Lenox D. Baker led the nine-member board of directors appointed by North Carolina Governor J. Melville Broughton.
