Thomas, Charles, 1794-1875
Variant namesThe Thomas family was a Quaker family that held extensive property in Montgomery and Chester Counties, Pennsylvania. Charles Thomas, the son of John Thomas and Sarah Williams, purchased a farm in King of Prussia circa 1829 and was an executor for his mother's estate. Sarah Williams Thomas had married, secondly, Job Roberts in 1820. Charles' son, Joseph, operated a nursery business on the family farm, and his wife, Mary P. Thomas, was an Elder in Valley Meeting.
