George Bruner Parks (1890-1981) (Columbia University M.A., 1914, Ph.D., 1929) was professor of English at Washington University (St. Louis), 1921-1939, and at Queens College (New York), 1939-1961. He was also Publications Chairman of the Renaissance Society of America and the editor of two volumes of the series: THE LITERATURE OF THE WORLD IN ENGLISH TRANSLATION; A BIBLIOGRAPHY (New York, Ungar, 1968, 1970).
