Kasparek (b.1938) was born in Chicago and moved to Medford, Wisconsin in 1945, where he lived until he joined the Air Force.

Kasparek spent twelve years in the Air Force serving as a radar operator. He married his wife, Carol, while on extended leave after returning to the United States in 1964. He currently resides in Medford.
