The enlargement of the Florida State Capitol in 1936-1937 was a building project of the Florida Construction Program. It was one of the public works programs funded by the Federal Emergency Administration of Public Works, commonly called the Public Works Administration (PWA). M. Leo Elliott, Architect, of Tampa, Florida, was responsible for the architectural drawings and plans for the Capitol project (PWA Docket No. 1166-RS).
