Horace Palmer Beck attended the University of Pennsylvania graduating from the Department of Dentistry in 1898 and the Department of Medicine in 1897. His student activities mainly concerned athletic competition with special focus on crew, football, gymnastics, and cheerleading. Beck went on to practice medicine in Newport, Rhode Island enjoying a full career until his death in 1936.
