Clauser, Suzanne
Suzanne Phillip Clauser was born in 1929 and grew up in a suburb of New York City. She attended Indiana University, graduating in 1951 with a degree in literature. Clauser began writing in the early 1960's and sold her first script to television in 1964, a play for the Bonanza series. During the next 8 years, she supplied material to Bonanza regularly. Her first novel, A Girl named Sooner, was published in 1972. Mrs. Clauser has written several highly regarded, full-length television plays, and continues to live and write in Yellow Springs, Ohio.
