Stevens, Ernest Lloyd, 1932-
Ernest Lloyd Stevens (b. Feb. 17, 1932, Green Bay, Wis.), member of the Oneida of the Turtle Clan, and nationally known Native American leader, historian, and educator in U. S. and Native American History, Indian Law, and economic development. He was director of the Indian Policy Review Commission in Washington, D.C., and director of the American Indian Center in Los Angeles. He also served as the Economic Development Director of the Oneida Nation of Wisconsin.
