Vanderslice, Daniel, 1799-1889
Daniel Vanderslice was the General Agent for the Great Nemaha Indian Agency from 1853-1861. The agency governed the activities of the Chickasaw, Iowa, Sac and Fox, and Kickapoo Indian tribes. Vanderslice also maintained contact with Samuel M. Irvin's Highland Mission serving the Iowas, Sac and Fox Indians.
