Pollard, Lancaster, 1901-1964.
Lancaster Pollard was born August 8, 1901 near Salina, Kansas. After graduating from the University of Missouri at Columbia, he moved to the Pacific Northwest, eventually settling in Portland. He was employed as the superintendent of the Oregon Historical Society between 1943 and 1954.
