Wilbur, Jeremiah, b. 1803.
Jeremiah Wilbur was an investor in and New York marketing agent for a beef shipping business begun by E. W. Taylor of Houston. Wilbur's nephew William H. Masters worked on the Houston Tap Railroad's construction outside of Hearne, Texas.
