National Foreign Trade Council. International Environment Committee.
Established in May 1974, and succeeding an informal interest group of members first assembled in 1972. The committee represented NFTC interests concerning the manufacture and export of pollution control equipment, pollution control policies and environmental regulation in various countries and their impact on industry, and represented the council in national and international conferences and organizations, especially the United Nations.
