Wallis, W. Allen (Wilson Allen), 1912-
Variant namesWilson Allen Wallis (1912-1998) was a career economist. He was Director of research in statistical research group in the Office of Scientific Research and Development, Columbia University from 1942 to 1946. He later served as Executive Vice Chairman of the Cabinet Committee on Price Stability for Economic Growth from 1959 to 1960, and as Special Assistant to Dwight D. Eisenhower from 1959 to 1961.
