Hull, Joseph, 1701-1773.
Joseph Hull (1701-1773) was the son of John Hull (1654-1733) and Alice Teddeman Hull (1659-1734), Quakers who moved to Rhode Island from England in 1687. The Hulls settled at Connonicut Island in Narragansett Bay, where Joseph was born. Joseph Hull later became Collector of Customs, New London, Conn.
