Frauenfeld, Georg, Ritter von, 1807-1873
Variant namesGeorg Ritter von Frauenfeld was an Austrian naturalist who specialized in molluscs. He was also the curator of the invertebrate department in the Museum of Natural History in Vienna, Austria. Frauenfeld was also one of the participants in an expedition on the frigate "Novara" that circumnavigated the world, 1857-1859.
