Killin family.
John Killin (b. 1793 of Penn.) and his wife Frances Ulan (b. 1815 of Ohio) married in 1834.
They came to Oregon in 1845 with a son, Benton (1842-1905). Benton served in the United States army 1862 to 1865. Later he was a lawyer in the Logan and Shattuck Firm. He was a trustee of Pacific University in Forest Grove and the President of the Oregon Pioneers.
