Louis Charles Mann was a leading councilor of the Yakima tribe. He had been born at Fort Simcoe about 1860 when the Indian Agency was stationed there. His heritage was half Klickitat and half Yakima tribe. Mr. Mann had been a leading figure and councilor of the Yakima tribe for years. Mr. Mann had been the secretary of the tribal council and had thwarted many attempts of land-grabbers to bring injustices to the Tribe and had served on many delegations to Washington, D.C. for the Tribe. Mr. Mann had married and they had four children. He passed away in February 1928 at his home in White Swan, WA. Robert Huston Milroy had a distinguished service in the U.S. Army. He served as the Indian Agent from 1875-1885. He and his family were stationed in Olympia, WA during his service. They remained in Olympia, WA and Mr. Milroy passed away in Olympia, WA in 1890.
