The College Forum was an internal publication in the College of Arts and Sciences and featured the writings of its faculty on a variety of topics in the humanities. In the inaugural issue, David Pollick, Dean of the College, wrote "we must engage issues by engaging each other and must both expect and welcome disagreement." Each newsletter contains several articles, stories and perspectives written by individual faculty members with intent to provoke, arouse and fascinate according to the editor. Consequently, a subsequent issue might include opposing viewpoints or reactions to a previous article or opinion. The writings were eclectic, humorous and serious. The following faculty managed the publication: Albert Mann, Editor; Andrew Tadie, Calligrapher; David Madsen, Classicist; Marvin Herard, Art Work. Other selected faculty members who contributed writings included: Hamida Bosmajian, Lou Christensen, Tom Cunningham, Louis Gaffney, SJ, Bob Harmon, Steen Halling, Charles LaCugna, David Leigh, SJ, Jim Parry, Jim Risser, and John Topel, SJ. The bulk of the Forum was issued from 1985-1989. One final issue (June 1995) appears incomplete in both content and pagination. Michael Mann, son of the Forum editor Al Mann, created the digital copy on compact disk and also provided missing issues to fill gaps in the library's original collection.
