Ruth Renfroe was a social worker in Oregon concerned with children and the elderly. She was also actively involved in politics as a member of the Democratic Party and served as the Chief Clerk for the Oregon House of Representatives from 1960 to 1962. Renfroe acted as a court appointed guardian and conservator for the elderly in the 1970s.
