Carey, Herbert H.
Herbert H. Carey had a lengthy mid-twentieth-century career as a personnel administrator and consultant. By 1922 Carey was an assistant to the personnel director at Western Electric Company. He remained with Western Electric's Personnel Department until the late 1940s, when he became a consultant in the Philadelphia area. His consulting clients appear to have included Leeds and Northrup Company and Electric Service Manufacturing Company.
