Rayner, Joan
Joan Rayner and her sister Betty were born in New Zealand and were the founder-directors of the Australian Childrens Theatre. They toured and played the world collecting stories and folk tales for their plays. The Australian Childrens Theatre touring company visited major cities and smaller country towns. The shows included drama, dance and puppetry.
