Nugent family.
Colonel Edmund Nugent commanded a regiment in the army of James II during the War in Ireland between the forces of the deposed king and those of William III. Thomas Nugent, afterward 4th Earl of Westmeath (1696-1752), served with James at the Boyne and Limerick.
