Hartmann, Henrik A., 1920- ,
Hartmann was a medical student in Oslo, Norway when the Germans closed his university during World War II.
He became part of the resistance movement and fled to Sweden where he signed up with an engineering battalion. After the war's end he finished his medical degree, attended the University of Wisconsin-Madison for a residency, and settled in Wisconsin.
