Brown, Elijah Webb.
Elijah Webb Brown was a merchant of Anderson, SC (1839-1891). Married to Mary Frances Hubbard Brown. Served in Confederate Army. Following the Civil War his store was reorganized and named Bleckley, Brown and Fretwell. From 1889 until his death in 1891 store named E.W. Brown and sons. Elijah Webb Brown was a member of the Red Shirts.
