Florence Longstreth Cook Litvackoff was a Quaker social worker and graduate of Swarthmore College, Class of 1918. Her uncle, Samuel Noble Longstreth, was a Philadelphia Quaker businessman, active in Germantown Preparative Meeting. He and his wife, Mary Cook Longstreth, had two children: Walter Cook Longstreth (1881-1975), who married Emily Corson Poley and was a prominent Philadelphia lawyer and pacifist active in conscientious objection and Green Street Monthly Meeting; and Edith Longstreth, an artist who married William S. Wood.
