Variant namesRealist painter; born in Stromberg, Nebraska. He studied at the Kansas City Art Institute (where he later taught) and in New York City at the National Academy of Design and the Art Students League. He has lived and painted in the Midwest, California, New York, New Mexico, and Mexico.
