Hensley, Jay D., 1917-
Private First Class (PFC) Jay D. Hensley was born 26 August 1917 in Knoxville, TN. He was inducted into the Army on 17 April 1941 in Chicago, IL. He left for the European Theater of Operation on 26 January 1945 and fought in the Rhineland and Central European campaigns until 18 October 1945. He separated from the Army on 2 November 1945 at Camp Shelby, MS.
