Griffin family.
The Griffins raised sheep in Enfield, N.Y. and sent fleeces to the Baxters' woolen mill in Mamaroneck. Mary Baxter was the daughter of William Griffin II and Priscilla Hadden Griffin. William Randel, who lived in Harlaem, N.Y., was probably the husband of Priscilla's sister Susan Hadden.
