Moore, Anna Sherman, 1906-1952.
A librarian for 25 years, Anna Moore was born in Detroit, graduated from Wayne State University and received a degree in Library Science from the University of Michigan in 1937. She volunteered for the Women's Army Corps in December 1943 and served 27 months. After her discharge, Anna Moore returned to the Detroit Public Library and worked in the Burton Historical Collection.
