Philadelphia Yearly Meeting of Friends (Hicksite : 1827-1955). Sub-Committee having charge of the income of the Samuel Jeanes fund for Meeting House Purposes.
The Samuel Jeanes Fund was established in 1900, with a donation from the estate of Samuel Jeanes, to assist Quaker meetings and isolated members of the Society of Friends in the repair and construction of meeting houses. It was originally established as a sub-committee under Representative Committee.
